Roastown Coffee coming to Second Avenue and St. Mark's Place
Just repeating this from last evening... at the former Pizzanini space at St. Mark's Place and Second Street... a little something to compete with the Starbucks on the next block... or Mud just on Ninth Street.... or Porto Rico .... or Cafe Mocha on Second Avenue and Seventh Street or...

Oh man. I was hoping it would be another frozen yogurt shop. Or Karaoke. Or a store that sells hookahs. fml.
ReplyDeleteThis is HORRIBLE NEWS. I loved that place. Great crunchy slices ... even though it was hellishly hot inside, it was a nice space.

Have you guys ever tried intelligentsia coffee out of Chicago? It's fantastic.
ReplyDeletebPotash-Intelligentsia is a great cup of coffee! You can get a cup or espresso shot of it at Ninth Street Espresso or at my personal favorite, Ost Cafe on 12th/A. I'd rather see a coffee shop than a bar, and Anything > Starbucks...
