Sea Salt still preserved

Back in March, we noted the rather eerie scene inside the former Sea Salt space on Second Avenue two-plus years after it shuttered.... workers have been puttering around inside of late ... and EV Grieve reader Alice caught a glimpse of this table... set for the ghosts of Sea Salt's past, perhaps....

Previously on EV Grieve:
At Sea Salt, the lights are still on, but no one is dining

  1. That is a very eerie scene. So strange it has been shuttered for so long with tables fully set.

    Great picture!

  2. My boyfriend and I just passed by it tonight, so I went online to see if anyone had mentioned how creepy it was that the tables are still all set up in there!! It looks haunted. I looked at photos of the original restaurant and it looked so lovely. Very spooky..
