ReplyDeleteIt's too bad that Counter is closing. Hopefully, Deborah is going to continue to make food in the EV. Counter's food was not exactly my thing, and they were a bit too expensive for my budget, but the few times I've been there, I've admired their commitment to fine vegetarian food, local sourcing, and generally not worrying too much about being like every other restaurant. Counter, unlike every other place in the 'hood was not a student-friendly place, it was a handsome, responsible, and idiosyncratic place for grownups.
