Empire Pizza opens on First Avenue
At the former Village Restaurant and Pizza joint on First Avenue near Second Street. It's now the second outpost of Empire Pizza, whose other shop is at 314 Fifth Ave. at 32nd Street.
Anyone try the pizza yet?

You've no doubt noticed that the lights behind the signs are SO BRIGHT, they may as well be of the same lumens used in lighthouses dotted along the Irish coastline.

ReplyDeleteWhere ever would we find Empire Pizza I ?
ReplyDeleteOMFG, they are cheats and liars after 10pm. I go there every day for lunch for the meatball ziti parm with 2 orders of garlic knots (6 total), and the total is ALWAYS $8.80. I've gone three times at night so far and they charge me $12 for the EXACT SAME THING! SCREW THAT!!! They have good menu items but there guy who is running the shift after 11pm is seriously over charging everyone $3-$4. Good luck if you can convince him otherwise.
