However, commentary that is intended to "flame" or attack, that contains violence, racist comments and potential libel will not be published. Facts are helpful.
If you'd like to make personal attacks and libelous claims against people and businesses, then you may do so on your own social media accounts. Also, comments predicting when a new business will close ("I give it six weeks") will not be approved.
And in the case of the world's worst Rite Aid on 1st Avenue and 5th St., fully occupied businesses aren't bothering to shovel either.
ReplyDeleteThe worst offender in my book is the gas station on Ave C and Houston that cleared the snow away from the pumps by plowing all the snow onto the sidewalks, making them completely useless giant mounds of snow.
ReplyDeleteI think that Rite Aid is under new management. I went in the other day and there was a dude in a suit who seemed to be the boss. And the place was fully stocked. It was kind of shocking. Service was still painfully slow however.
ReplyDeleteThere's still big quantities of snow and now ice on both the platform and the stairs of the 8th street N/R/W station. It's every man for himself out there.
