Octavia's Porch really wants you to know that they're delivering now

Earlier this month, we noted that Octavia's Porch on Avenue B was starting delivery service ... Meanwhile, we've been spotting the menus to the restaurant co-owned by Nikki Cascone from "Top Chef" season four taped up on city property on corners from Houston to Seventh Street, Avenue A to Avenue C...

  2. She was on "Top Chef", she didn't win.

On the last post she said that the delivery area was Delancey to Eighth Street, the Bowery to Avenue D.

They only deliver to Eighth Street? What are we chopped liver past Eighth?, and which side of D?

  3. When I read the EVG post about them stopping delivery on 8th I hunted down her website and sent a snarky note about how as far as I knew there were people north of 8th Street who might want delivery; she wrote back and said that this is an early delivery map, and as they settle in they'll expand it. I personally think that's ridiculous - 5 more blocks? Oh come on - but we'll see. But I won't eat there 'til she does.

  4. What ever Grossman.. Cascone.. Pisciotta..... they are all family and just as I thought they would be delivering further south.... and I am proud to be the town yenta.. as this restaurant is in a resolution area.... prior establishments at this location never had a full liquor license... so I don't know who ate who... but the approval for this restaurant with a full liquor license in a resolution area should have never happened.

  5. The Voice gave them quite a scathing review:

  6. They taped a bunch of them over LES Film fest flyers. A statement maybe? The amount of litter they've shared with the community is enough to put me off of trying them.
