Does the East Village fit the Dockers demographic now?

Sign spotted for a Dockers commercial shoot today on Avenue A at 10th Street.

  1. If they were smart, they would slap pairs of Dockers on the gutter punks and crusties of Tompkins Square Park and have them engage in an ironic conversation about the woes of the market. (rolleyes)

  2. I agree that the 'gutter punks and crusties' are under utilized. If they could get slightly more organized - not their strong point - they could make themselves available for photo shoots, bar and bat mitzvahs, theme parties, record releases, etc.

For a reasonable fee, they will lend grit, "authenticity," and most of all a highly unpredictable quality to an event.

  3. Agreed, Anonymous. Except I worry their piss smell may bum people out. Not good for bizness.

  4. Being a sub-division of NYU, the EV is the perfect location for a Dockers shoot!

  6. Okay, but you must admit, those are some comfortable pants. Especially when you're a hefty boy like me. Woof!
