Elusive pigeon lady captured on film, sort of

We've discussed the elusive pigeon lady hereabouts before... she lays down huge bags of bread crumbs on Avenue A near Ninth Street for the rats pigeons. Begin the Pigeocalypse!

Anyway, a reader has sent along this photo moments after one of her the pigeon lady's morning dumps, so to speak...

The bread crumb trail is getting hotter...

  3. It's David Gates in drag! I wondered what happened to him. Kind of fitting he's spending his Bread royalties on the pigeons, though.

  4. A similar crumb culprit leaves a trail of pigeon/rat/chicken/rooster grub on East 5th Street every morning as well. Absolutely infuriating!

  5. "a reader has sent along this photo moments after one of her morning dumps" unless she's keeping it a secret, exactly what time was this photo taken...

  9. That's funny, because I yell and argue with these people ; they always defend scattering bread scraps around with "hey, they gotta eat too," or "I'm only feeding the pigeons/squirrels, not the rats," even when they're throwing out the scraps in the late afternoon.

Naturally, I thought I was the only person who thought these people shouldn't be littering and disobeying the "Do not feed the pigeons" signs. In fact, the people I'm yelling at can't usually read English anyway.
