Last night!

Perhaps it was the combination of several powerful forces converging... spring break, pleasant weather, Big East Tourney, pre-St. Patrick's Day greenletting ... Or maybe it was just another Friday night... One reader noted that there were several street fights on Avenue B at Fourth Street. Eventually, the police just camped out there....

  4. Jeremiah, I am SO with you!! This weekend was obnoxious!! WHY is it imperative to yell, "Woo hoo!!!" at all hours of the night!?

I live near Epstein's Bar on Allen and Stanton. They threw the window wall open and the sports bar patrons were out of control with their yelling and scream-speak. It brought back all the horrible memories of last summer. We're screwed..

  5. Like Grieve said, NCAA basketball, Big East, Big Ten, pre-St. Patrick's Day, etc.

This week, 3/17 is St Paddy's day. In addition to the Frat's, B&Ts, Yunnies, the usual suspects, you will now have NY's Bravest and Finest shitfaced as well.

Oh, by the way, 278 days until Santacon.
    Cheers!

What you don't get, hun, is that you ARE them. You subsidize them. Go back home. If you all go back home it will stop. Can you spell G-E-N-T-R-I-F-Y?

Don't ask for whom the bell tolls because you might just find it tolls for you too.
