NYPD responds to a disturbance on Avenue B and Seventh Street
EV Grieve correspondent Bobby Williams noted that six NYPD officers were on the scene on Avenue B and Seventh Street a little early today ... Police arrested the man ... witnesses described him as "disorderly."
Guess it was a slow day at the 9th. Quite a far cry from a couple of decades ago when I called to report a crazy guy wearing nothing but underwear and brandishing a rather large handgun who was running up and down 11th Street screaming, and they didn't even bother to send one cop to check it out.
What you can just barely see here is the sign on the door of 7B that reads "St. Patrick's Day Headquarters." This disorderly is only the beginning of a seriously fucked up week.
Your remarks and lively debates are welcome, whether supportive or critical of the views herein. Your articulate, well-informed remarks that are relevant to an article are welcome.
However, commentary that is intended to "flame" or attack, that contains violence, racist comments and potential libel will not be published. Facts are helpful.
