Cooper Union displays its cans

A reader walked by Cooper Union last night on the Seventh Street side and and did a double-take, so to speak... "I just had to go back and see this 20-footer hanging in the atrium."

Thank goodness this isn't hanging in the window on Avenue A and Third Street ...

  2. They just put that there to make people think that they are cool. It's a common tactic in this day and age.

  3. @Anon 11:02, Yes, Cooper Union is only trying to be cool. The fact that they have been around for 150 years providing a free Arts, Architecture, and Engineering education isn't enough.

  5. It's part of some kind of exhibit. Look down at the floor and there's all these cardboard cutout things. A tour was going through when I wandered by to check this out in person.

  6. Of course it's an art show. Cooper Union has been instrumental in the redevelopment of Astor Place and it continues.
