wow, that thing is no joke. I love great danes, Im just curious who can afford the extra space? A brussels griffon etc seems more suited for NYC apartments.
ReplyDeleteThere is a guy on Bleecker Street around the corner from Bowery that has TWO of these enormous dogs.
ReplyDeleteIn the early 1980s I used to see this lovely, tiny black woman who had four of them; she'd walk around the nabe with two on each side of her like bookends. Very well-behaved, quiet dogs, but I always wondered the same thing Hey19 asked - how did she fit one, much less four, into her apartment???
