UPS can't even afford the East Village

EV Grieve mailbox correspondent Blue Glass notes that the UPS store at 168 Second Ave. near 11th Street has closed...

...the sign on the door explains why....

  1. They were always nasty to customers anyway. Maybe someone told their corporate office. Or just showed them pictures of their homemade signs that forbade any packing of a box on the premises.

  2. I agree, the customer service was awful. Maybe another UPS store or FedEx store will replace it and get it right, or maybe I'll just go to one of the many copy stores in the neighborhood where you can drop off such packages.

  3. Agreed with everyone above. This store was awful. When they weren't rude, they were simply closed in conflict with their posted hours.

They are still local shipping and supply stores, including one around the corner on 10th. Use them.
