The ongoing brown-paint war at the Verizon building along 13th Street (at Second Avenue) continues... here's how it looked earlier last week...
And after a paint job on Friday...
To be continued....

OK, I'll be the first one to bet that by Wed night the cup cakes will be tagged on that wall.

This is fun.
ReplyDeleteWhat a continual waste of brown paint and money and energy by Verizon.
Hit it!
Waste of brown paint? I guess you can look at it that way. What about the people who spend endless time and energy "tagging" up property that's not theirs? They are the real waste, they are the root of all this pointlessness.
ReplyDeleteAbsolutely agree. Personal responsibility is a disappearing characteristic. Verizon has the right idea for SURE. The perpetrators will hopefully be caught eventually.
ReplyDeleteWhy not have real artists (graffiti artists or not) come in and do full murals? That might cut down on the ugly tagging. But I suppose there'd be some sort of neighborhood objection to that too.
