June 1

East Village artist (and EV Grieve commenter) VH McKenzie came across this today on East 10th Street between First Avenue and Avenue A ...

A little thirsty looking... And how about some verification? She did have a Duane Reade receipt handy...

Gruber MacDougal, chief spokesperson for the International Coalition of Tree Tossing in the Spring (ICTTS), is at the opening of the new Relais & Châteaux hotel, Villa Clarisse, in Saint Martin de Ré and unavailable for comment.

  1. Looks good! Wasn't even sure this thing was still going, what with Gruber being so wanting in his duties. Hope the maids in the Villa Clarisse escape his sweaty advances.

  2. June 1 !!! Amazing. I bet the tree tosser was a college student clearing out of her apartment.

Not that anyone will find one by then, but I assume the contest will end with the end of spring/beginning of summer, which will be June 21, 1:16 P.M. EDT.

  3. @Tom: I've been assuming the same thing since the beginning of this thing because that son of a bitch, Gruber MacDougal will not say if that is indeed the closing date, if a winner will be announced and what kind of prize this winner is going to get! I guess he's not talking because it's hard to form words when your mouth is full of shit!

    P.S. Nice find, VH McKenzie!
