An Urban Etiquette Stoop Sign

We spotted this Urban Etiquette Sign recently under a sidewalk shed on the tree-lined 10th Street between Second Avenue and Third Avenue (AKA, Central Village)...

Perhaps the sign worked, because we spotted this fellow taking a nap a few stoops away...

  1. Urban etiquette is an oxymoron if I ever heard one.

  2. Urban etiquette as opposed to what suburban etiquette? People from the burbs have much worse etiquette than those in the city. Subherbanites dont know how to act in crowded situations. Watch how Long Islanders/NJ transit people act in Penn Station or inside the subway cars going to them. Here's a simple etiquette that subherbs never get. Move all the way inside the car, I dont care if Penn Sta is next.

  3. One word to the sign writer-"move". Get a house with a fence around it and shut up.
