New East Village IHOP will employ more than 200 people

On Saturday, we pointed out the newly unveiled exterior of the East Village IHOP on East 14th Street between Third Avenue and Second Avenue ... Meanwhile, Jennifer London, who operates Xoom across the street, met the new manager, who said that IHOP was hiring more than 200 people to start. Quite an operation...

And EV Grieve reader Tom wonders is this exterior will be similar to the Harlem IHOP location...

  2. Make fun of it but I know people who are happy to have a potential place to work and have put in applications. Not everyone in the neighborhood is hip enough to work in an ironic bar.

  3. Agreed. Anyone know if they're accepting applications yet?

  4. @Bianca

They were taking applications back in July. Dunno about now. Perhaps swing by and speak to the manager? I think he has been at the site.
