  3. And it rained when the sun was out, at around five. And, Anon, if you can't tell that those pictures are of NYC...they are facing vaguely toward Houston (the street, not the city).
    According to a friend, it poured in midtown at about the same time.

  5. when the heavy afternoon rain came the sun was out and the lighting of the trees and sky was absolutely fabulous
    and i didn't have my camera
    st marks church looked "heavenly"

    The most beautiful thing in these shots outside of the rainbow and the solitary red brick apartment amongst the pale is that you can't see any stupid, overpriced, ugly design, glass-fronted hi-rises towering over them and obscuring the urban dichotomy of heaven and earth.

    Yet.

  8. My wife said she saw a double rainbow coming home from 20th St. In a normal tone of voice not like the YouTube guy.
