  2. The Hurricane Experience will be a one day exclusive event. Are attendees really planning to eat all that food in one day?

  3. I agree with East Villager. I was at the Food Emporium last night and laughed at all the people with baskets filled with frozen food and meat. If the power goes out kiss all that goodbye. If it doesn't, are you really going to eat all that tomorrow?

  4. I bought beer and toilet paper. Was I supposed to get something else?

  5. People should support the small stores in the nabe. It's a make or break event for them.

Also, I have little theory about these weather events - people LOVE them. It makes them feel like human beings. I mean for thousands of years we have gathering all our nuts and festering meat and hiding it in the back of the cave.

People have a NEED to this stuff, and it actually makes them happy. Makes them feel like they are part of their environment.
