the essex street market is becoming too hip - heritage meats replaces a 70-year-old butcher shop - expensive cheese, gourmet chocolates, artisan everything!

the 10th street market was replaced by an expensive condo.
the old-time italian butchers have been replaced by fancy clothing boutiques and expensive gourmet restaurants.
the fulton fish market is gone.
