  2. After 15 years at 166 2nd avenue ,east village artist Paul Kostabi and cults manager Heidi Follin also of Follin Gallery have to leave due to a rent increase from $2,300 to $3,300. I guess the East Village really is a place for people whose parents make more then 3 million a year.

  3. Anon 12:47- That doesn't sound right. That unit seems like it should be stabilized, which would make a $1000 increase illegal. I'm assuming that Kostabi and Follin have spoken to housing advocates (Cooper Square Comm. or GOLES). Or did their income go over the limit?
