    So they're old, big deal. Calling them "60s fogeys" is just a way of delegitimizing those who were political a generation or two before. Count on it: in a few decades the press will be mocking protestors of today's generation "still stuck in the Occupy days".

    Anybody know what songs they sang? Anybody dissing them should consider the body of work they've left behind: The Byrds, The Hollies, CSNY and their solo work. Impressive. Oh and David Crosby personally paid for at least two coke dealers homes and private jets in the '80s. (Couldn't resist!) Nice shot by Dave on 7th.

    David Crosby is also the biological father of Melissa Etheridge's two children with former partner, Julie Cypher. A very busy grandpa:)

    David Crosby and Graham Nash were utterly fantastic today -- they played a nice accoustic set with an audience sing-along ("No More War"). Their choice of songs were poignant and they were quite relevant.

    These guys have been making great music and supporting political activism for more than 45 years now. They were extremely generous to come to Zuccotti Park as they did, encouraging us to "Stay here; don't leave!!"

    What a special moment....

    Wow. I have the chills. These guys are living legends. I remember being a little kid and my mother singing us "teach your children well" with her guitar as a goodnight lullabye. sigh...
    how great of them to go to the park. these guys are keeping it REAL!

    In response to Marty W, regarding CSN's body of work: Try doing a "Six Degrees of Seperation' with CSN and their various bandmates. It is endless treasure trove of great music. Buffalo Springfield,Poco(whose basist Timothy B Shmitt went on to the Eagles)Loggins and Messina, Flying Burrito Brothers, Gram Parsons,etc. etc. etc....
    (I recommend the 1968 Super Sessions Album with Steven Stills, Al Kooper and Mike Bloomfield.)

    I went down there, place was completely packed. not with people, but with tents. worse possible place to pick as a place to hold a brief concert. they should have held it at washington square park. and all the people that was surrounding him were all press cameras.

    there was none of the mic check, none of the people please sit down so ppl in the back can see.

    but i guess these two old farts can now claim to have said they were there at occupy wall street.
