Dec. 24
14th Street and Avenue A today via EV Grieve reader Tom... very likely not left over from xmas 2010... But a commendable effort nonetheless by Tom...
But, in a shocking reveal from Tom:
The tossed tree was my neighbor's Christmas 2010 tree. Honest to God!
If so, then this is clearly the winner... The previous best was Aug. 23...
Tests are pending. Hold all tickets.

FAR too green to be leftover from 2010. Unless it was a live tree, planted in a pot of soil, and then unceremoniously cut down this week in order to be tossed.
ReplyDeleteI call foul!
A Christmas miracle from Tom! I'm dying to see what the prize for this is!
ReplyDelete"Tests are pending." Hmmm ... should I get a lawyer?
ReplyDelete@ Tom
ReplyDeleteWell, if you feel the need to lawyer up ...
I agree with VH. Way too green! Compare it to the August tree, which is dead and brown...
ReplyDelete@Tom: You're dealing with Gruber MacDougal, of course you should get a lawyer. I'd go with Gloria Allred, maybe you'll get on TMZ!
ReplyDeleteWho do I have to bugger to win this thing?
ReplyDeleteI hope it's not Gruber.
@Tom
ReplyDeleteI believe Gruber has hired some facilitators who worked on the Iran–Contra affair to serve as mediators. I expect then that this will be resolved in 18 months or so.
