  2. My girlfriend and I were actually looking to adopt a second cat after the new year. Does any one have experience with these guys or any other adoption service in the area? Thanks.

  3. The problem with any animal rescuer is that they see all the terrible and irresponsible things people do to animals, so they're not always "customer friendly". Don't be put off if the Social Tees guy doesn't seem friendly, he's actually pretty nice.

  4. I miss the 'Trinkets and Treasures' shop that was on there previously. I bought a few antique chairs there.

  6. I think so. There was Wanda, the blond lady with the Texas accent who ran the shop and I think Gary, who was the guy who went out and found all the stuff at estate sales and whatnot. I believe they moved to NJ. I have so many things from that shop :)

  8. ...experience with these guys...

Robert can be a little brusk but adopting an animal from him is a pleasure. He's very straightforward about it and will help you as much as you need. Also, fwiw, the animals who land there always seem just a bit happier and healthier than those at other places. He does make an effort to make sure they are finding the right homes that their time in the shop is comfortable. I hight recommend SocialTees and Robert.

  9. Wanda was awesome and happily passed the store on to Robert who had been across the street. Robert is a great guy. he deals with a lot of crazy people that come in so do not think he is an a-hole or anything. I gave him a cat i rescued in mexico then I felt awful and wanted the cat back..I called Robert freaking out and he got Delgado in a trap for me at like 1am and dealt with the cat freaking out all night til i went over there freaking out myself at noon the next day. He was really nice about it and Delgado is crazy and fat and ate all his own teeth but I love him still.

  11. Saw this space being worked on this weekend, but didn't stop in to inquire about what was coming in. If I see the door open again I suppose I'll ask and send along-
