This is what Fourth Avenue and 10th Street looked like on Jan. 16, 2012

This year, we'll post photos like this of various buildings, streetscenes, etc., to capture them as they looked at this time and place... The photos may not be the most telling now, but they likely will be one day...

  1. This is one of my favorite building facades. I love the contrast between the patterns and colors of the different bricks. Have a look and check out what I mean. I should hurry over and take new photos before it's too late!

  2. There _is_ something about those classic buildings on 4th Ave, they are very tall and skinny and old, survivors.

  3. I'd love to see a time lapse of the plywood wall with the posters. It is constantly changing.

I wondered how MURAL was painted there and saw a video on YouTube called "Katsu Fire Extinguisher Video" that features this very wall at the 2:56 mark. (looks like MORAL in other tags)
