The Coen Brothers want to dress up East Ninth Street

  1. Now I want a small bookshop on 9th street. It reminds me of Biography Books on Bleecker. Is that still there or did Marc Jacobs take it away?

  2. More Jane Jacobs, less Marc Jacobs!

  3. The cars were very cool but the production crew was a bit obnoxious. Who are you to tell me I can't walk on the side of the street that I live on & need to get in my apartment ?

They just wanted you to wait for a few moments so they could get the shot of that side of the street. I know, as I was there. A small inconvenience to have the Coen Brothers shooting on your block, I think.

  5. If the Cohen brothers had any respect they would put down the cameras and Occupy The East Village. Lots of
Luck. Nobody cares. if actors and filmakers want to make a statement they would not shoot here we are being raped right now!!!!

    Bye.....bye.....bye.....

  6. I'm with anon #2. What they are doing just adds to our destruction. What are they living under a rock. Everyone, the Coen brothers, Patti Smith, they are just like the rest of the mainstream assholes, it's me..me...me....me.....me...me....Do you really think that they or anyone else gives a shit about anything that is going on. Everyone can and will go to....ignorance1
