The empty storefronts of East 10th Street

  2. What?! A new business that doesn't sell cupcakes, macaroons or recycled, organic, free range note pads? Cool!

  3. It's actually the copy center (The American Copy Center) from up the block. They closed and moved down the street with a name change.

  4. The Community Board is going to launch a new plan to entice more upscale restaurants to the East Village because they want to see fewer empty store fronts. This is their plan for the economic development of the East Village, about to become official. Watch for it.
