Just checking in on the progress over at 51 Astor Place... Bobby Williams took this shot yesterday...

Meanwhile. Good lord! We forgot about our exclusive poll from a few weeks ago ... in which we asked what you would rather see at 51 Astor Place — green space/empty or the Death Star.

    We all know that EV Grieve is world famous, but the thing with IP location is that traffic can be routed through a specific point. Right now, I'm on 6th street, but at my old job, when I was in my office, all traffic went through Arkansas where my old company's headquarters is. For sites doing geo-tracking, it looked like I was in Arkansas, even though I was in midtown.

    The IP routing stuff is fun - anytime I run a search on Google at work, I get local targeted ads for Reston, VA.
    Fun fact about Reston, too - it is the site of the only U.S. outbreak of the Ebola virus, to date.
