Does Cooper Union accept Senior citizens? I would be so happy to get one of their stipends. I'd even get me a beret.
ReplyDeletefuck them too
ReplyDeleteLincoln must be so proud.
ReplyDeleteDisappointing that "art" these days is simply writing a couple of provocative words in a large font in a public place.
ReplyDeleteDadaism -> post-modernism -> art is dead.
Now I understand why Cooper Union students would be upset about contributing to the cost of their edukashun.
ReplyDeleteit would be hard to hang this "art" on your wall.
ReplyDeletedoes the window come with it?
how long did it take sarah to develop this masterpiece?
we've lost, they win!
This art was obviously influenced by the Mr. Ed Theme song.
ReplyDeleteSo let me get this straight, people are upset at Cooper Union for turning the East Village in to latest example of Gentrified New York while also being upset about its artists acting like, well, artists. Got it.
ReplyDeleteA definition of sloppy reporting:
ReplyDeletenot bothering to interview the
artist about whose work you are
complaining.

ReplyDeleteRe-read the original post. I wasn't complaining about it, as you put it. People were curious about why someone wrote "is a bitch" on Cooper Union's windows. I simply linked to information about the exhibit.
You should all go inside and see the show and see the rest of the art. It's really good.
