City removes rammed tree alongside Tompkins Square Park

Last Friday, we noted that someone or something rammed this tree on Avenue B along Tompkins Square Park...

Apparently the damage was bad enough that the city needed to remove the tree...

  2. Digusting. Someone should be fined majorly for the damage. Hopefully they get a lil sapling in there ASAP. A sap. ling.

  3. They never replace the trees they take down, they just leave those disgusting holes, or worse: the basket type coverings that get filled with trash (on St. Mark's, at least). So sad.
