    There was a Jeep that caught fire right outside Phebe's on 4th and Bowery a week ago - I'd have let someone know, but I didn't have my phone and figured someone else caught it.

    Huh! Any idea on how these things happen? Spontaneous combustion? Seems like every year there's at least a couple on my walk down St. Marks. If this was Berlin I'd say it was recreational, but here?..
