  3. Mourinho's current (Hala Madrid!) and former team clashing at the house that Ruth built, well actually that one is now a parkland.

Nonetheless, should be a good match, same goes for the Chelsea v PSG (not a fan of either -- Allez Marseillais!) match on July 22nd, albeit first team and the football/fĂștbol (don't call it soccer)stars (if they're there at all)would only play a few minutes before giving way to the C team.

Can I start a Kickstarter campaign for me to purchase tickets?

  4. Congratulations to The Coalition to Protect Chinatown and the Lower East Side and to the members of GOLES who stood up for the rights of the people of our beloved LES.

Shame on every single member of CB 3 for approving this plan and Shame on Rosie Mendez and Margaret Chin for their manipulation.

Community Board 3 members should have fought for 100 percent affordable housing right out of the gate when the SPURA plan was being worked on several years ago, but instead allowed themselves to be coerced by SPURA Committee Chair David McWater and CB 3 Chair Dominic Pisciotta Berg who together spearheaded the plan by brainwashing community board members and affordable housing groups into believing that if they didn't compromise down to fifty percent affordable housing that the city would move forward with their own plan that would include no affordable housing. Why would affordable housing groups, activists and CB3 liberals believe them, and how would they know what the city would do if they never even tried to create a plan for 100 percent affordable housing?

Only a small number of activists and a few community board members were able to get the city's attention to revert some of their decisions. It wasn't because of Mendez and Chin. If it were left up to Mendez and Chin nothing would have been reverted in writing, and community board members shouldn't take credit either, as they backed down at the full board abandoning LES activists. They should have been aggressive years ago, so shame on them.

This is to the many community board members who had the the opportunity to raise their children on the Lower East Side because of affordable housing. Many of whom worked as school teachers, social workers, nurses, artists, musicians, etc., have now turned their backs on the new generation.

People from The Coalition to protect Chinatown and the Lower East Side blasted Margaret Chin stating that the plan was classist and racist and that they were going to sue the city. I whole heartedly back them and hope that if there are any radical lawyers out there that they will step in and help to reverse this classist racist development plan. A man from GOLES spoke about how there isn't any affordable housing for artists and how the artists have been driven out of the LES.

Immediately, everyone should cause a scene over the preservation of the Essex Street Market because the Bloomberg Administration can't wait to demolish these historic structures.
