Snakes on an Avenue

You may have seen this last evening... above, on Seventh Street... and, later, a show on St. Mark's Place and Second Avenue... via EV Grieve reader Rob



Times like these we turn to the Hollywood classics, such as Ice Cube in "Anaconda" — "They got snakes this big?"

    Not cool! This animal should be some place safe, not slithering around on the filty sidewalk where any number of bad things could happen to it.

  3. Also, BRAVO NYPD for not only allowing the East Village to be an alcoholic free-for-all on the weekends, but now we have 12 foot snakes roaming free????

  4. This skae is illegal in the state of NY. PLEASE call the Department of Health and report this incident. This man is clearly an irresponsible owner.

  6. i saw this thing, 10 feet long at least and 300 lbs. sprawled along the sidewalk on ave c directly in front of my apartment.
    needless to say, i politely waited 10 minutes on the corner for it to, ahem, move along.
