Dog etiquette signs are getting more colorful, trees weirder
Just noting this sign on East Fifth Street across from the 9th Precinct...
...and adding to the collection that includes this one ... this one ... definitely this one ...

ReplyDeleteIt is a shame that signs need to be posted in the first place. New Yorkers used to be a little more savvy and respectful. Too many selfish stoopid people think their dogs have the right to poop in the tree pit1. I have actually seen a woman pick up her pooch and place him in a tree pit that had guards around it to prevent dogs from doing their business there. I also saw a woman in the park by Cooper Union allow her dogs to poop and pee in the planters. Someone said something to her and she was shocked and offended that someone would call her on her disrespectful and ignorant behavior!
