Noted
Spotted at everyone's favorite, the Peter Stuyvesant Post Office on East 14th Street... Via Andrew Adam Newman on Ave C, who noted: "Don't bother — there's no pleasing those other doors."

Lol
ReplyDeleteI guess the rumors about Ray Manzarek being a grouch are true.
ReplyDeleteWorst Post Office, with the most attitudinal, unhelpful staff in the entire five boroughs.

There are a couple nice people at Stuy post office, but you gotta be super-nice to them first for sure, or they can be mean. Also there is one teller there who is just flat-out incompetent, so much that if I'm called next and she's the teller, I say to the person behind me, 'oh, I'm not ready -- you go ahead!' rather than lose my shit on this woman.
ReplyDeleteTo call the place slow as molasses is an insult to molasses. Also, sometimes people can bring their (non-service) dogs in, and sometimes they get yelled at for it. I vote for letting the dogs in, they entertain the rest of us while we wait 3 hrs for packages.
IT IS ALMOST LIKE HAIKU!
