This likely makes sense to some city administrator

This past summer, workers tore up First Avenue between First Street and Second Street to put in sidewalk extensions (bus bulbs!) for the M15 and the Select Bus Service.

Flashback!

In August, the MTA added the M15 Select Bus ticket machines on First and First. All good, right?

Apparently not. Today, workers were back ripping up the freshly repaved Avenue...

  4. These buses should really be stopping @ 2nd st. instead. The intersection of 1st & 1st is a zoo, and it is stupid and dangerous to have enormous buses adding to the congestion there and dumping tons of people into a congested and dangerous area. Even worse, they are dumping bussloads of people directly in front of the funeral home!! Stay classy, DOT. Every single time I get off the bus and fall smack into a mob of teary mourners, I feel just awful. And the frats & yups just blather right through screeching on their cells, it's insane. Have we no civility left at all???
