City shuts down Tompkins Square Park

The City said that it was shutting down all Parks at 5 p.m. today in anticipation of Hurricane Sandy's high winds. However, workers locked the gates around Tompkins Square Park just after 2 p.m.

  5. Anon 2:49 I am worried too. I did a slow walk all round TSP this afternoon looking for our little grumpy fella .. but I knew it was a long shot. But he is a tuffy and will surely find a hidey place.
