At the New York Healthy Choice grand opening today on Avenue C

This morning, we mentioned that New York Healthy Choice was opening today on Avenue C at East 11th Street.... it's owned by Jose and the folks behind Yankee Deli across the East 11th Street... EVG reader Robert Galinsky stopped by and took these photos...

    A nice looking, clean store. Very nice produce. As of early afternoon nothing had prices posted or attached! I asked about the prices - and bought - some produce and the prices were quite reasonable. Hope they weren't wrong.

    The fish don't have very calm expressions on their faces. In fact, some of them look downright surprised.

    lol i'd love to open a place across the way called Unhealthy Choice and sell all kinds of delicious junk food.... no in all seriousness though, best of luck to Jose and the store.

    I stopped by to take a peek at the end of the night yesterday. Super nice store and super nice people. (And they had some prices up by then!)
