Sonni's Boom Box leaves East Fourth Street

  1. Too much? I can't be the only guy who thought the dark stretch of sidewalk those containers created at night was pretty sketchy.
Still, I'd rather look at their colorful facades when walking up the Bowery, than at the blank wall behind them.

  2. These containers provided shelter and latrines to homeless, alcoholic, junkie, crusties, and their pit bulls. but I'm glad it's gone, it really smelled like piss there.

  4. Maybe a colorful mural could be painted on that blank wall.
