Chips ahoy in Tompkins Square Park this weekend

Sure, you could toss your tree in front of your building with the ornaments and stuff still on it...

... or you can drag it over to Tompkins Square Park for the annual MulchFest, holiday days of obligation in the EVG household...

  1. The way the light hits off some of the remaining tinsel on the pile o'trees in Tompkins is really beautiful. I thought there were lights still aglow at first.

  2. I was going to take mine there, but my wife insisted that the tree leave the apartment last week, and the Sanitation Dept.'s web site says that the city picks up trees at curbside and mulches them anyway, so...
