The way the light hits off some of the remaining tinsel on the pile o'trees in Tompkins is really beautiful. I thought there were lights still aglow at first.
ReplyDeleteI was going to take mine there, but my wife insisted that the tree leave the apartment last week, and the Sanitation Dept.'s web site says that the city picks up trees at curbside and mulches them anyway, so...
