That place has been open for a year? Damn.
ReplyDeleteI ate there once out of morbid curiosity. It tasted like it would make me sick. It didn't, though, to their credit?
@ abrod
ReplyDeleteYeah, was thinking the same thing. They actually opened on Jan. 5, 2012.
Have never tried it either. I did stop for coffee one day last summer when they launched a breakfast service. That lasted like 3 days. (The breakfast service, not my coffee)
I was psyched for this to open. I wanted to like it, the idea of it is great. I tried it once and just didn't like the execution maybe. Big spongy dogs, kinda bland, and too bulky buns. I guess I just prefer the salty bite and lean profile of NY dog like a Nathan's or Papaya, offer me one of these with Japanese toppings I'd be willing to give it another try.
