I have never been to Jules, but I enjoy (live) jazz. Whats the deal here, is this place, cool? legit? I dont look often, but I have never noticed a name I recognized, but that doesnt say much.

ReplyDeleteWell done!
Will definitely be in this week for a celebretory visit : )
thanks for the post
Happy Anniversary to Jules! I love that place and plan on having a drink or three when I come back to visit.
ReplyDeleteThank you to Jules for bringing all the great jazz to the East Village! Nightly and no cover. We need this...
ReplyDeleteNow if only you added some vegetarian items to the menu, I'd be there far more often!

Anon a side of risotto and a glass of bordeaux will do you right!
ReplyDeleteYUM
Is the steak & risotto available for brunch, too?
ReplyDeleteHappy Birthday Jules! Félicitations!May you have 20 and plus more years. One of the reasons why I still tolerate the EV after it has become the drunkerry district and the bar-ification of the neighborhood. And they only have beer and wine, there's no need for a full liquor license to make it in this business, note to CB3 and you artisanal cocktail joints. Just provide a good service and place to both the neighborhood and transients alike, without the pretense, snobbery, and trendiness, that's all. Bon appétit!
