New menu, management for Thailand Cafe on Second Avenue

A sign on the gate at Thailand Cafe, 95 Second Ave. near East Fifth Street, explains the recent closure... as you can see, they'll be back Thursday... with presumably a different menu. And owners.

Can't say that I've ever eaten here. In a Thai food rut.

  1. I hope they don't change it too much - this place is pretty good for your average Thai menu. Between this and Zabb Elee they have all your Thai needs covered.

I'd bet they'll add some northern-Thai to compete with Zabb Elee, and jack the prices up.

  2. This place is GREAT with their vegan options as well. i hope they don't jack up the prices since they just raised them already this year. And if they loose the recipe for the incredible Panang Vegetarian Duck, we'll be loosing another great E.Village 'go to" spot - Lunch special here has also always been a favorite
