Today's hawk in Tompkins Square Park

  1. Climb a tree to get a picture of the Hawk for EVGrieve, Facebook, etc.?
    Better yet, last week after the Hawk makes a kill some idiot traps him between a park bench and the fence behind the bench to take a picture. When are people going to have some respect for this animal and leave the poor thing alone. View him from a respectful distance maybe or is that too much too ask? The day will come when someone gets attacked, and what then? Blame the bird for protecting itself and it's space which people seem to have no regard for. Put the bird down because it's a dangerous wild animal? Bird of Prey? I hope he shits on your head, bites you in the face and rips you open with his talons. Did you see the bear in Inwood Park? How about a pic.? Better yet go and pet it. Schmucks!

  3. anon at 10:14 pm has a point... RTHawks are protected, and that activity could be construed as harassment, which could, in turn, invoke a drone patrol.
