Straphangers feeling the effects of the MTA reducing sign and tape budgets



Oh, and no L train service between Lorimer and Eighth Avenue until Tuesday morning at 5. Really.

  1. And I've seen no news that the MTA quietly ended weekend service on the M* Crosstown bus. If you need to get to the West side, you're walking.

  2. Yeah its the Canarsie Line..which is a gamble even when its working. Not to mention the Manhattan platforms that smell of sewage for 10 years going.

  6. If you are referring to the M8, they discontinued weekend crosstown service a while ago. You know, cause who gives their driver the weekends off!
