ReplyDeleteWHOSE FUCKING PARK????
ReplyDeleteOh please. "Anarchy" had nothing to do with the gate being taken down, stupidity and carelessness did.
ReplyDeleteEverybody's park, not just "ours"
ReplyDeleteEverybody but the homeless -- so say the gates, a collusion between gov and real estate. Blame gentrification on hipsters, students, yunnies, artists, landlords or surplus accumulation if you please, but city gov was there at the start with these Gates of Gentrification. The question is not 'whose park?' but 'whose neighborhood?' and 'whose government?' And, not to forget their role in expelling the homeless, 'whose community board?'
