Finally, in case you wondered what a party for the tech set at the Russian & Turkish Baths on East 10th Street looked like. Photos from this event have been making the rounds, so... ValleyWag said that the party "fell just short of Stefon-level absurdity. There was, however, enough wood paneling and strung out girls in bikinis to remake that Fiona Apple video."

thank you for posting about the volunteer opportunities. Now that I have my apartment I can and do make dinner for friends, but before this I had trouble finding places for once-a-year last-minute volunteering for thanksgiving. Giving people last-minute places to volunteer at when other plans fall through is a real service.

perhaps one could stand a hot tea on a cold day.
the view was sensational, and nobody bothered you if you sat for a while.
and there were bathrooms up there.
another great view from a store was the short-lived coffee shop at the top of mays on east 14th street
