  1. Seems like a reasonable use of out tax dollars.
    I'd guess this little show of force costs the city about what it would cost to trailer in a 60 ft tree along with crane, backhoe, and crew. And replant one of the parks lost trees.
    But this is nice also.

  2. The Santas are parasites. I live near the park and am grateful for the police presence. I just hope the police are out in force later, when the public vomiting and pissing really gets underway.

  5. They're hanging out. Not working. There were 3 white santas openly smoking doobies on 9th Street, totally ignored by the cops.
