Your SantaCon map, for better or worse

Thanks to EVG commenter extraordinaire Giovanni for passing along the official handy-dandy SantaCon map. This is from 10 a.m.-1:30 p.m., at which time they'll all be coming by my apartment for tea and homemade scones.

  1. Does anyone know if these bars specifically agreed to participate? I think some of them told the CB3 SLA committee that they wouldn't participate in pub crawls and out that in stipulations to their license.

  2. EV, I'm pretty sure by the time SantaCon gets to your apartment they will be belching up the Scotch egg with huckleberry jam biscuits.

As someone commented on another post, where is their unofficial headquarters The 13th Step? I'm heading over there now on my way to Mud for some coffee, and I can't believe 13th Step isn't going to be slammed again. Last year they kicked in the glass door at Starbucks, which is probably locking down their bathroom as we speak. Maybe they have finally changed their ways and told SantaCon to just go away, but i doubt it, they make too much money off this mess.

  3. Wtf? I thought they were going to Brooklyn? I have Christmas shopping I have to do today and barfing and sodomy is not on the list.

  4. Sodomy is ALWAYS on my list! And I get to choose who bottoms.

  5. The part about Brooklyn appears to have been a red herring.

  6. Going to Brooklyn is as believable as the existence of Santa Claus. They're not gonna go to Brooklyn since these kids will take any excuse to be in the bar central of NYC, if not U.S.A. That's like saying 'hey folks, we're having a spring break in Florida. We'll meet in Palm Beach from 10am-1pm but then head over to Hendry'. Yeah, right, like they kids are going to follow.
