Want a bus?

Last Tuesday, during the Polar Vortex, this bus broke down in front of St. Brigid's on Avenue B at East Eighth Street. A week later, it's still there. We're told that no one from the bus operator has attempted to make any repairs… or haul it off somewhere…

Until then, what can we do with it?

    St. Brigid's Street Confessional.

A historical Bloomboig-related mural....then plow it into the East River....and have a party while watching it sink.

    ROAD TRIP!

Bus Company Filing For Bankruptcy, DOE Scrambling To Find Solution By Jan. 2 December 19, 2013 5:38 PM

NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) – Some 40,000 school children may not have bus service when they come back from Christmas break.

The Department of Education was expected to send out letters Thursday and Friday to parents of some 40,000 students saying their bus company, Atlantic, informed the city it will not provide transportation when school starts after winter recess on Jan. 2.

The letter says Atlantic and its affiliated companies, Amboy, Staten Island Bus and Atlantic Queens Bus, have filed for bankruptcy protection."

  5. New trend for the mobile food trend, the food t̶r̶u̶c̶k̶ school bus. Where the hipsters and foodies will pay three times the price of a regular food and feeling quite superior and authentic and special about it. Hey, they're doing that school cafeteria set up at M. Wells at P.S. 1. And maybe them biscuit boys can start an outpost here, it'll be fitting since they need to be taken to school anyway.
